Ok fellow zoners,Are you interested by the French culture and its treditions? Are you taking French classes and would like to practice, and or brush up your oral skills?

Well, if you answer yes to the above questions, then I might have a solution for you.

I am thinking of putting together a French conversational group where we'd meet twice a month. The topic of conversation will be based on a specific theme which was agree upon by all participants at a prior meetings. The idea is that, this way each of you will have a couple of weeks to prepare a list of vocabulary relevant to the theme to be discuss in our next meeting. This way, I'm hoping to prevent each of you from feeling too overwhilmed. The prep work on your part also allows the conversation to flow, and everyone can contribute to a given topic.
These themes may range from, but not limit to unfounded myth regarding the French culture and its people, its rich gastronomy and wine, its teditional holidays and practices, popular writers, musicians, and films, are just a few possibilities.

So if you are interested in taking part, please post to this board, and I will set up a first meeting. Native French speakers are of course, more than welcome to join.

Thanks,

Kim.

Kimmy, when I saw that you were asking if we wanted to practice our french oral, I got quite excited. and though I enjoy talking to a nice lady after sex, the thought of using french in order to practice oallyly doesn't f me. Now, if you want to snog, lets get on with it.

Not that I'd be contributing much as I don't know much French yet, I'd love to learn about it and it sounds great Kim.
